Day 6 of Diorama- December 12, 2016

Today, I have have made many of the finishing touches. For example, I have created the wall of  the priests' and nobles' house. I have additionally placed rocks for an outline of the walls. Also, I have placed 3 palm trees spread around the box. Then, I poured sand onto the bottom of the box and spread it out.

While I bought what I needed, I also found extra toys in my play room, so I used a wheelbarrow to store rocks, a basket to also store rocks, and had a crate of food, which I placed by the farmers house.

The last phorah of Egypt

Blog 1

I started out reading History Revealed. we read an article called The Last Pharaoh Cleopatra.
I learned all about Cleopatra. It told us all about the men in her life. She was a very attractive women. She used different men to get her way. I find out she married her brothers. I learned in this magazine that the most interesting person she married was named Julius Caesar. Julius Caesar was a powerful General. Cleopatra snuck to meet him by rolling her self up in carpet to get to him and seduced him to get the military support she needed to rule Egypt. I pick them because they were interesting people.

The first thing we did was went to Michael's and got supplies.

Then I found a old shoe box and painted clouds in the sky. I used sand paper for the ground.

We bought little wooden pawns to represent the solders in war. I painted the solders in metallic sliver because it looked like their amour.

I cut red capes for Julius Caesar and then white capes for the enemy army.

I made Cleopatra out of Gold paint and yarn for her black hair. Then I painted Julius Caesar half gold half sliver.
